AJ came to the Zombies in 2007 and played a vital role in that championship season.  His .350 slugging percentage and .403 on-base percentage only show a portion of his value to the Zombies.  His personality and eternally positive attitude are his true driving force. The Zombies enjoyed having AJ in the dugout on and off since 2007, until he left the Denver area for good in 2020.

Sadly, AJ passed away in August, 2022.  His number was retired by the Zombies on 8/21/22. "Once a Zombie, Always a Zombie".
