Dave was the first all-around athlete that played for the Zombies.  This lefty possessed all of the tools - speed, strong arm, knowledge of the game, and could hit for power and average.  He batted .456 and had 50 stolen bases in his 4 seasons with the Zombies. He is still the all-time Zombies leader with 20 triples.   Although he left the Zombies in 2009 to play for the Twins, he will be sorely missed by the game of baseball.
